Members participate in KofC sessions to earn 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th degrees as needed.
Parishioner's children participate in a free throw contest with winners moving onto KofC state level sessions.
St. John the Baptist school children participate in a spelling bee contest with winners moving onto KofC state level sessions.
Parishioners and Friends are given the opportunity to donate blood for our community.
Parish men participate weather permitting in saying the Rosary at 7pm starting 9/15 at Fire Pit near the church Pavilion

Parish men participate in religious discussion on increasing their faith and related understanding.
Council Members, Friends and Family are given opportunity to gather for a bbq along with music and fun while being able to donate to St. John the Baptist School Mgrs Cloos fund.
Each year the council awards ten $1000 scholarships to college students in the community based on the applications that are submitted in April.
Each year the council supports the Christian concepts in support of pro-life vs abortion.
.Provides parishioners to enjoy the fun of a tail gate during a Chicago Bears game in the school parking lot while raising some funds for the needs of the school.
Each Thursday a council members participates on a one hour adoration of Christ in the St;. John the Baptist chapel from 7 to 8pm. Current participants are:

Parishioner's children enter a essay emphasizing why Christ is the main reason for Christmas.
Council supports the agreed to needs of the community. Examples have been:
Initial and Annual Donations to Ronald McDonald House in Winfield
Construction of Church Pavilion
Remodeling of Church Kitchen
Construction of a Village Pavilion
Provide refreshments for Village and Church events
After Sunday 7:30 am and 9:30am masses breakfast fund raiser than also provides parishioners to enjoy each other.
Parishioners and friends to enjoy a Advent and/or Lent meal while supporting council fund raiser needs.
In the Village Council runs Snack Shack for area shoppers on the weekend. Efforts support Monsignor Cloos Fund to give financial aide to catholic students K-8.
Provides up to 36 foursomes the opportunity enjoy a great golf day along with Prime Rib dinner. Fund raised to support Ronald McDonald House as well as other key community needs supported by the council.
Attendees enjoy drinks, roast beef and chicken dinner and music while supporting the funds needed for the Council annual scholarships for college students.
Village of Winfield festival for all ages with food, beer, bands, carnival rides, children and adult activities and parade. The Council organizes most of the activities!
Council holds a reverse raffle including an optional dinner where one person get can win the Grand Prize. Proceeds benefit the Council charitable activities.
The Intellectual Disabilities (ID)or "Tootsie Roll" Fund Drive is one of the most recognizable activities that the Knights of Columbus do. The funds generated from this drive are used to support local programs which help people with special learning and life needs.
Council sponsors pig roasts during the year as fund raisers per individual requests.
